Primary Orphan Scholarship

GOAF provides scholarships to primary school-age orphans and vulnerable children in Uganda. To be selected, a child must be out of school due to the inability of the child’s caretaker to pay school fees. The child is assigned a sponsor and receives clothing, shoes, school fees and a gift. Once a child is in the program, he/she can attend an enrichment program held three times a year at the Ladd’s Children’s Center when school is on holiday.

The fee for sponsoring a primary school age child is only $100 per year.

When considering sponsoring a specific child, please consider that renewal each year is expected unless your circumstances change or the child leaves the program for some reason.
